Christina is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with specialized expertise in co-occurring disorders, perinatal mental health, and family interventions. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a certified ARISE® Interventionist.
Christina earned her graduate degree in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Addictions from Rosemont College. Throughout her career, she has held senior leadership roles across both inpatient and outpatient settings, working within for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Her broad clinical and administrative experience informs her holistic, compassionate approach to care.
In addition to her clinical work, Christina is deeply committed to supporting the next generation of mental health professionals. She is passionate about providing training and clinical supervision to clinicians working toward licensure.
Outside of her professional life, Christina enjoys spending time with her family and giving back to her community through volunteer work.

Kaitlin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years of experience in the mental health field.
She approaches therapy with empathy, a solution-focused mindset, and a humanistic lens, always tailoring her approach to meet the unique needs of each individual or family.
Kaitlin specializes in working with children, teens, young adults, families, and groups, fostering a supportive and collaborative space for healing and growth. Her training in Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT) reflects her belief in the inherent strengths and deep resilience within every person.
In her clinical work, Kaitlin integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy interventions, mindfulness practices, and trauma-focused approaches to help clients navigate challenges and move forward with confidence and clarity.

Joe is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Drexel University in 2013 and completed his Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Rider University in 2017.
With over a decade of experience in the behavioral health field, Joe has worked across a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, residential treatment programs, and outpatient services. He has supported individuals across the lifespan—from children to older adults—navigating mental health and substance use challenges.
Joe’s clinical approach is rooted in evidence-based practices and informed by specialized training in trauma-informed care, Family Systems Therapy (ESFT), and Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT). He is passionate about providing compassionate, client-centered care that meets individuals where they are and supports their unique path to healing and growth.

Kirstin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Kutztown University and a Master’s degree in Counseling.
With over ten years of experience, she specializes in working with children, adolescents, individuals, and families across diverse settings. Her background includes residential treatment centers for juveniles, mental health and substance use programs for adolescents and adults, suburban elementary schools, alternative middle and high schools in urban areas, in-home family services, and youth programs at city Boys & Girls Clubs.
Kirstin’s compassionate, empathetic, and person-centered approach emphasizes a holistic perspective, often incorporating art and play therapy to engage young clients. She is dedicated to creating a respectful, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where individuals feel safe to explore their feelings and actively participate in their healing journey. Her work focuses on empowering clients by highlighting their strengths and involving them fully in the therapeutic process.
Outside of her professional life, Kirstin enjoys photography, music, and outdoor adventures such as hiking, fishing, camping, kayaking, paddleboarding, geocaching, and urban exploring—activities she especially loves sharing with her son.

Mackenzie is a counseling intern at Root to Recovery, LLC and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Gwynedd Mercy University. She is actively working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Mackenzie also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Southern New Hampshire University.
With a warm, compassionate presence, Mackenzie is dedicated to supporting individuals through a wide range of life challenges, including perinatal mental health, LGBTQ+ affirming care, anxiety, depression, trauma, and complex family dynamics. She believes in the healing power of connection and community, approaching each therapeutic relationship with empathy, authenticity, and respect.
Mackenzie takes an integrative, humanistic approach to counseling, tailoring each treatment plan to the unique needs of the individual or family. Her clinical work incorporates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with art therapy, mindfulness, family systems theory, and holistic wellness practices. She also honors and supports clients who wish to integrate their spirituality, faith, or belief systems into the therapeutic process.
Mackenzie is especially passionate about helping individuals build confidence, embrace their identity, and express their needs in healthy, empowering ways. Her ultimate goal is to support clients in becoming the most authentic version of themselves.
Outside of her clinical work, Mackenzie enjoys volunteering with the Girl Scouts, meditating, running, playing ultimate frisbee, and creating art.

Lindsey is an Associate Counselor at Root to Recovery, LLC and is currently working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Slippery Rock University and earned her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Delaware Valley University.
Lindsey is passionate about supporting teens and adults navigating anxiety, depression, and perinatal mental health concerns. She creates a compassionate, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their healing journey.
Her therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with strength-based, person-centered, and compassion-focused techniques, allowing her to tailor treatment to the unique needs of each individual.
Alex is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) practicing in Pennsylvania, with over ten years of experience supporting adults in residential, community-based, and outpatient settings.
She specializes in working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma symptoms, and relationship challenges.
As a psychodynamic therapist, Alex helps clients gain deeper insight into themselves, their relationships, and unconscious patterns that influence their lives. Through a collaborative and trauma-informed approach, she guides clients in identifying these underlying dynamics and understanding how they affect current behaviors and relationships.

Brooke Nasella is a nationally certified counselor and licensed associate professional counselor with experience working with a wide range of clients through telehealth.
She provides support to individuals from adolescence through adulthood. Brooke has worked with clients navigating ADHD, depression, anxiety, and life transitions, offering a collaborative and judgment-free therapeutic environment. Brooke’s background also includes six years with the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office, where she served in various roles, including courtroom security, prisoner transport, warrant division, and involuntary commitments. This unique experience has contributed to her trauma-informed and safety-conscious approach to care.
She tailors treatment plans to meet each client’s unique needs, drawing from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices. Brooke is passionate about building strong, trusting relationships and is dedicated to helping clients reach their personal goals through compassionate, individualized care.
